Who is Lauris Vidal?

Renowned for his unconventional self-made instruments (which include a cigar box ukulele, an electric guitar, a tenor banjo, lap steels, and a lap steel bass – all of which are made out of 300 year old Cypress barn wood found on his family’s farm) Vidal’s high-energy yet infectious nature is apparent both on and off stage, and roots back to his rural Florida upbringing. Now residing full time on
the road, Vidal’s music continues to reflect the unique, deep, swampy, sunshine roots of his heritage. His energy onstage and passion for existence in daily life has garnered praise by his friends, family, and fellow musicians.

Who is Andy Shauf?

Compared to “a young Elliot Smith” (Philadelphia Weekly), and “Paul Simon” (Consequence of Sound), Shauf is very much one of Canada’s well kept secrets – a secret he himself kept till a late age despite writing and recording albums in his bedroom since the age of 14. “Darker Days”, his 2006 debut full length, has gone on to receive positive reviews from the likes of Booklyn Vegan, Magnet Magazine, Paste Magazine, Alternative Press, Chewing Gum For The Ears, and Absolutepunk.net.

P is for Panda is a record label and a clothing/t-shirt company. They “strive to promote artists, bands, writers, filmmakers, etc; and at the same time give back to the community.” They do this in two ways: 1) Donating at least 10% of any profit made on the label side to charity. 2) On the clothing/t-shirt side, they split the profit 3 ways: 1/3 to the label, 1/3 to the artist, 1/3 to a charity the artist chooses.

Where can I see them?
